Greek christopsomo anise bread

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
teaspoon Yeast
3 cups Bread flour
1 teaspoon Anise seed -- crushed
¾ teaspoon Salt
4 tablespoons Sugar
4 tablespoons Nonfat dry milk powder
3 tablespoons Unsalted butter
¾ cup Water
2 larges Egg
1 teaspoon Lemon juice
GLAZE:
1 cup Powdered sugar
½ teaspoon Anise extract
3 teaspoons Water -- or more

Directions

Add all ingredients except those for glaze. Use basic cycle. While the bread cools to room temperature prepare glaze. Glaze cooled bread on top and sides. Let dry before slicing.
