Green bean salad with walnut dressing

Ingredients

3 | pounds | Green beans |
10 | Walnut halves, toasted and chopped | |
4 | tablespoons | Walnut oil |
½ | cup | Vegetable oil |
¼ | cup | Red wine vinegar |
1 | Garlic clove | |
Coarse kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste |
Directions
Blanch the beans in boiling water until just tender, about 3 to 4 minutes.
Drain and chill immediately.
Mix the remaining ingredients and let stand 1 hour.
Immediately before serving, toss the beans in the dressing and remove the garlic clove. Yield: 12 servings. Typed in MMFormat by cjhartlin@...
