Green beans with sugared walnuts

2 | tablespoons | Butter |
1 | cup | Chopped walnuts |
1 | tablespoon | Sugar |
2 | pounds | Fresh string beans; trimmed |
Directions
Melt butter in a heavy skillet and add walnuts. Lightly brown, then add sugar and mix well. Continue to cook for 3 min. on med. heat. Set aside.
Place green beans in a large pot with enough water to cover; bring to a boil. Cook until bright green, but still slightly crunchy. Drain and add to the walnut mixture. Mix well. Makes 8 servings.
