Hearty beef stew

2 pounds Beef, cut in 1\" cubes
2 Carrots, sliced
1 large Onion, diced
3 Stalks celery, sliced
1 can Tomatoes; 28oz
½ cup Quick-cooking tapioca
1 Whole clove
2 Bay leaves

Directions

Salt and pepper

(Old Fashioned flavor like Grandma's thanks to the tapioca!) Trim all fat from meat. Put all ingredients in CROCK-POT. Mix thoroughly. Cover and cook on Low 12 hours, or (High: 5 to 6 hours).
