Notes: From Orange County Registar Cook's note: If you want to make the sauce a little spicy, add 1 teaspoon of chili paste or chili paste with garlic.
1. Place hoisin sauce, water and vinegar in a medium saucepan. Bring to boil on medium-high heat; boil, stirring, for about 30 seconds.
2. Remove from heat and cool. Garnish with chopped peanuts.
Yield: about ¾ cup, about 6-8 servings Nutritional information (per serving): 75 calories, 2⅒ grams fat, 0.03 gram saturated fat, no cholesterol, 377 milligrams sodium, 24 percent calories from fat
