Ingredients

2 | Sticks butter | |
1 | cup | Sugar |
1 | Egg seperated | |
2 | cups | Flour |
1 | teaspoon | Cinnamon |
¼ | teaspoon | Ginger |
½ | cup | Walnuts; chopped fine |
Additional sugar for sprinkling on top |
Directions
Cream sugar and butter. Add egg yolk. Add cinnamon and ginger to flour and add to creamed mixture. Form dough into a ball. Cut in half and put each half on a cookie sheet. Spread thin. Add 2 tablespoons of water to egg white and spread over the top of dough on each cookie sheets. Sprinkle with sugar and walnuts. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes or until brown.
