Lasoon chutney (garlic) (w)

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
5 Cloves garlic; 5-6, sliced
1 cup Coconut shreds; unsweetened
1 tablespoon Cumin seed; whole
3 Red chiles; 3-4, dried
2 tablespoons Sesame seeds
2 tablespoons Tamarind pulp; seedless
¼ cup Peanuts; unsalted
½ teaspoon Salt; or to taste

Directions

Roast all of the above ingredients independently with the exception of the salt in a dry skillet until they turn reddish brown in color. Grind them in a coffee mill and serve either dry as a condiment or serve with ghee.
