1½ | large | Bars sweet hershey chocolate (total 13 1/2 oz) |
1 | Jar (7-oz?) marshmallow cream | |
1 | teaspoon | Vanilla |
2 | packs | (6-oz) chocolate chips |
1 | teaspoon | Salt |
2 | cups | Chopped nuts |
4½ | cup | Sugar |
½ | cup | Butter |
1 | can | (13-oz) evaporated (not sweetened condensed) milk |
Directions
The Exclusively Chocolate Cookbook by Pauline Child Chip or shave bars into large bowl. Add marshmallow creme, vanilla, chocolate chips and salt. Mix sugar, butter and milk in large saucepan and boil. Cook 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and pour over first ingredients. Stir until chocolate dissolves. Add nuts and pour into 9 x 13 greased pan.
