Molasses corn bread

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
2 cups Bisquick mix
½ cup Whole wheat flour
½ cup Cornmeal
cup Sugar
1 teaspoon Baking powder
cup Water
cup Dark molasses
1 Egg

Directions

Heat oven 350°. grease bottom of loaf pan, 9x5x3. Mix all ingredients until moistened. Pour into pan. Bake 50 to 50 minutes or until wooden pick comes out clean.

Variation: chop raisins very fine and add. Can do the same with walnuts.

Need to be finely chopped.

NOTES : This taste good with warm peanut butter and syrup poured over a slice.
