Mom's chutney

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
Mangos, green, cut up (to get 2-3 cups)
1 cup Raisins (or more)
1 cup Walnut pieces
1 cup Wine vinegar (or to taste)
2 cups Brown sugar
1 teaspoon Salt (scant)
1 teaspoon Ginger, ground
½ cup Onions, diced

Directions

Cut up mangos. Add raisins and walnut meats. Add wine vinegar slowly, tasting for right amount. Add sugar and salt; simmer together until done and mango doesn't hold its shape anymore, about 30 minutes.
