Munger moss cherry cream pie

Ingredients

1 pack (3 Oz) Cream Cheese
½ cup Powdered Sugar
1 cup Dream Whip
1 can (16 Oz) Sour Cherries
2 tablespoons Cornstarch
pinch Salt
1 drop Red Food Coloring
2 cups Dream Whip
1 Ten-Inch Pie Crust -- baked

Directions

Soften cream cheese and blend with powdered sugar until smooth. Fold in 1 cup of Dream Whip and blend well. Spoon mixture into pie shell and place in freezer for 20 mins. Drain cherries. Heat cherry juice and thicken with cornstarch. Add salt and a drop of red food coloring. Add cherries to juice and allow mixture to cool. Spread over cream cheese mixture. Cover with Dream Whip. Store in refrigerator until served. Makes 8 servings.
