My best peanut butter cookie recipe

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
1 cup White sugar
1 cup Dark brown sugar
1 cup Buttered-flavored Crisco
2 Eggs; beaten
1 cup Crunchy Jif peanut butter; (or creamy can be used)
1 teaspoon Vanilla
2 cups Unbleached white flour
1 teaspoon Baking soda

Directions

Preheat over to 350 degrees. Sift flour and soda together and set aside.

Blend sugars and shortening together in mixer. Add peanut butter. Mix well.

Blend in eggs and vanilla. Add flour and soda. Mix well. Form into small balls and put on greased cookie sheet. Press each ball with a fork to make indentations in the dough. Bake approx.
