New england pumpkin pie

1 | can | Pumpkin equal to 2 cups |
1½ | tablespoon | Butter (melted) |
1 | tablespoon | Cornstarch |
1½ | cup | Milk or 12oz evaporated |

½ | teaspoon | Cinnamon |
1 | cup | Sugar |
½ | teaspoon | Ginger |
⅛ | cup | Molasses |
½ | teaspoon | Nutmeg |
2 | Eggs (beaten) | |
½ | teaspoon | Salt (scant) |
Directions
Sift Sugar, Cornstarch, Salt, Cinnamon, Ginger and Nutmeg togeather. Mix this with pumpkin. Add Eggs, beaten, Melted Butter, Molasses and Milk. Add a dash of Lemon juice (if desired). Line a 9 inch pie pan. Pour in contents. Preheat oven and bake at 450 degrees for 15 minutes. Then reduce heat to 350 degrees and bake for anothe 50 minutes.
