New orleans fish fillets

Ingredients

4 | Boneless fish fillets, (6 oz. each) snapper, sole, cod or bass | |
½ | cup | All-purpose flour |
1 | tablespoon | Paprika |
½ | teaspoon | Red pepper |
¼ | teaspoon | Garlic powder |
½ | teaspoon | White pepper |
½ | teaspoon | Salt |
1 | dash | Black pepper |
2 | tablespoons | Vegetable oil |
Directions
1. Rinse and dry each fillet. 2. Combine all dry ingredients. 3. Flour each fillet with this mixture, being sure to pat off any excess. 4. Heat oil in large frying pan. Brown the fillets for about 1 minute on each side. 5.
Place fillets in oven-proof dish. 6. Bake at 350 degrees F. for about 10 minutes or until fish flakes easily.
Tips: Do not over-cook fish or will dry out. Good served with: Steamed rice, extra red pepper, tomato wedges and lemon slices, if desired.
