Onion, meat and potato casserole

6 larges Vidalia onions, peeled and thinly sliced
6 larges White potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
2 cans Condensed mushroom soup
4 tablespoons Oil
½ teaspoon Salt
¼ teaspoon Fresh ground pepper
2 pounds Lean ground beef

Directions

(Grimes Family Onion Recipe Collection) Brown meat in oil; drain and add salt and pepper. Grease large casserole dish and make alternate layers of onions, potatoes and meat. Pour mushroom soup on top and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Serves 8.
