Oven barbequed beef

Ingredients

1½ | cup | Water |
1¼ | cup | Ketchup |
¾ | cup | Onion; chopped |
½ | cup | Firmly packed brown sugar |
⅓ | cup | Celery; chopped |
¼ | cup | Lemon juice |
2 | teaspoons | Chili powder |
2 | teaspoons | Beef flavour bouillion cubes |
½ | teaspoon | Pepper |
¼ | teaspoon | Hot pepper sauce |
4 | pounds | Beef stew cubes |
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 2. In a dutch oven or roasting pan combine all ingredients except beef; mix well.
3. Add beef, over a high heat bring to a boil, cover and place in oven.
4. Roast for 3 hours or until tender.
5. Break meat into small pieces, serve in pita breads or on buns.
