Parmesan and walnut bruschetta

½ | cup | Chopped walnuts |

½ | French bread loaf |
Directions
Heat broiler. Grate cheese. Combine ½ cup of cheese, ¼ cup walnuts and ¼ teaspoon salt in a food processor. Whir until finely chopped. Add ¼ cup of the oil and whir until fairly smooth. Cur bread on the diagonal into ½" slices. Brush both sides with remaining ½ cup oil. Toast bread under the broiler, about 30 seconds per side. Spread 1 side of each slice with walnut mixture. Sprinkle with remaining ¼ cup of cheese. Press remaining ¼ cup walnuts on the top. Broil until the cheese begins to melt, about 30 seconds.
