Parsnip and carrot puree - house beautiful

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
cup Evenly chopped carrots
cup Evenly chopped parsnips
cup Heavy cream
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tablespoons Melted butter

Directions

In a saucepan, cover carrots with water and simmer 10 minutes. Add parsnips to pan and cook until both vegetables are tender. Boil away any excess water left in pan, add cream, salt and pepper and simmer for a few minutes. In a food processor with a metal blade, puree mixture. Serve immediately with melted butter on top. Serves 4.
