Ingredients

½ | cup | Plus 1 tb. firmly packed brown sugar |
2 | teaspoons | Baking powder |
⅛ | teaspoon | Salt |
3 | tablespoons | Margarine, melted |
2 | tablespoons | Peanut butter |
¾ | cup | Skim milk |
½ | teaspoon | Vanilla extract |
1 | Egg, beaten | |
Baking spray with flour | ||
1 | tablespoon | Semisweet chocolate mini morsels |
Directions
Combine first 4 ingredients in a large bowl, and stir well; make a well in center of mixture. Combine margarine and next 4 ingredients in a bowl; add to dry ingredients. Stir just till dry ingredients are moistened.
Pour batter into an 8" square baking pan that has been coated with baking spray. Top with chocolate. Bake at 350 degrees for 28 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in the middle comes out clean. cool 10 minutes in pan on a wire rack. Yield: 9 servings (about 201 calories per 2½" square.
