Peanut brittle - my favorite

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
1 cup SUGAR
½ cup White KARO
4 tablespoons WATER
1 teaspoon SODA; (heaping w/o lumps)
cup Spanish PEANUTS with skins; (not raw)

Directions

Mix top 3 ingred together and bring to a boil Cook til thin syrup 230°. Add Peanuts. Boil, stir til light tan color - 300°. Add soda, stir very well.

Pour onto buttered cookie sheet. DO NOT Spread.
