Peanut brittle - my favorite

Ingredients
Quantity | Ingredient | |
---|---|---|
1 | cup | SUGAR |
½ | cup | White KARO |
4 | tablespoons | WATER |
1 | teaspoon | SODA; (heaping w/o lumps) |
1½ | cup | Spanish PEANUTS with skins; (not raw) |
Directions
Mix top 3 ingred together and bring to a boil Cook til thin syrup 230°. Add Peanuts. Boil, stir til light tan color - 300°. Add soda, stir very well.
Pour onto buttered cookie sheet. DO NOT Spread.
