Pepper rub for rib eye steaks

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
3 pounds Beef rib eye; 1 1/2 in. thick
1 tablespoon Olive oil
1 tablespoon Garlic powder
1 tablespoon Paprika
2 teaspoons Dried thyme; ground
2 teaspoons Dried oregano; ground
teaspoon Pepper
1 teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon Lemon pepper
1 teaspoon Ground red pepper

Directions

Brush steaks lightly with olive oil. In a small bowl, combine all seasonings. Sprinkle seasonings over steak and press into both sides. Cover and chill for one hour. Grill steaks turning once over medium hot coals for 14-18 min. for rare; 18-22 min. for medium; 24-28 min for well-done.
