Persimmon torte

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
1 cup Brown sugar
½ cup Lard
1 Egg
1 cup Persimmon pulp
cup Flour
1 teaspoon Soda
1 teaspoon Cinnamon
½ teaspoon Baking powder
½ cup Nuts

Directions

Cream sugar and lard. Add egg, persimmon pulp, mix and add dry ingredients. Bake in 2 layer cake pans at 375 degrees until firm.
