Ingredients

1 Basic Masa Dough recipe
18 Corn husks
FILLING-----
4 cups Basil, fresh -- packed
1 cup Olive oil
4 tablespoons Pine nuts
4 Garlic cloves
½ cup Parmesan cheese -- grated
OR
½ cup Vegan parmesan substitute
3 tablespoons Romano cheese -- grated

Directions

To make filling: Blend basil, oil, nuts and garlic for 2 to 3 minutes in a blender or food processor.

Add cheese and blend until smooth, about one minute. Fill and cook tamales according to "Tamales: Basic Procedure".
