Pineapple plantation cake

| 3 | tablespoons | Margarine or butter |
| ½ | cup | Brown sugar |
| 6 | Slices canned pineapple | |
| 12 | Maraschino cherries | |
| Ginger cake mix | ||
Directions
Melt the 3 T butter or margarine in an 8x2 inch square pan. Add the ½ cup of brown sugar and well-drained pineapple slices and cherries. Fill ⅔ full with gingercake batter and bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes. May substitute white or yellow cake mix.
