Pork chops with creamy mushroom sauce

1 | cup | Chicken broth |
¼ | cup | Sherry |
1 | Envelope dry onion soup mix; (8 oz) | |
1 | cup | Sliced fresh mushrooms |
½ | cup | Whipping cream |
Directions
Sprinkle pork chops with salt and pepper. Heat oil in heavy skillet. Brown chops 2 minutes on each side. Add broth, sherry, onion soup mix and mushrooms. Cover, reduce heat and simmer 15 minutes. Remove chops and keep warm. Stir whipping cream into skillet mixture. Cook over medium high heat, stirring constantly, until thickened, about 5 minutes. Serve over chops.
