1½ | cup | Prunes |
1 | cup | Sugar |
¼ | cup | Lemon juice |
3 | tablespoons | Sweetened condensed milk |
9 | tablespoons | Water |
Few grains salt |
Directions
Wash prunes. Cover with cold water. Heat to boiling. Simmer until soft. Rub through sieve. There should be 1 cup prune pulp. Combine prune pulp, milk, water, sugar, lemon juice, and salt. Pour into freezer. Freeze. 6 servings. I.M., Greenfield, IN.
