Pumpkin pie filling

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
1 cup Sugar
1 teaspoon Butter
1 teaspoon Cinnamon
½ teaspoon Ginger
1 pinch Salt
1 can Pumpkin, Canned -- small
Can
1 cup Milk -- or evaporated milk
1 Whole Egg

Directions

Mix together sugar and butter until well blended.

Add rest of ingredients, and beat slightly with an egg beater or whisk.

Pour into an unbaked pie crust, and bake at 425 degrees for 15 minutes.

Lower temperature to 350 degrees, and continue baking for 45 minutes.
