Pumpkin pie 2

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
2 Eggs
cup White sugar
1 teaspoon Cinnamon
¼ teaspoon Allspice
¼ teaspoon Nutmeg
¼ teaspoon Ginger
Few grains salt
1 3/16 cup Prepared pumpkin
¾ cup Hot milk

Directions

To prepare pumpkin:

1) Remove seeds (not necessary to peel) 2) Cut into chunks, place in covered container 3) Bake in oven, microwave, on stove (with a little water), or in a pressure cooker (with a little water), until soft. Drain water.

4) Remove peel

5) Mash- place in strainer to remove extra water.

Make pie crust- The one on the Tenderflake box is good.

Mix filling ingredients and pour into unbaked shell. Bake at 450 degrees for 10 minutes, then at 350 for 25-30 minutes (until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean).

Whipped cream or ice cream makes a great topping.
