Quick 'n' dirty hot nuts
1 Servings
Ingredients
Quantity | Ingredient | |
---|---|---|
2 | cans | Planters cocktail peanuts; the greasy, salty kind. |
1 | teaspoon | Ground New Mexico red chile powder |
1 | teaspoon | Ground Cumin |
¼ | teaspoon | Habanero; Jalapeno, or Chipotle chile powder (choose your flavor, adjust quantity to match your heat tolerance)) |
½ | teaspoon | Ground black pepper |
½ | teaspoon | Ground white pepper |
1 | #12 brown paper bag |
Directions
(no heating or melting of butter required!) Toss all the ingredients in paper bag and shake thoroughly for about a minute; then pour the peanuts back into their original containers. Discard the nasty greasy paper bag. Great with cold beer and warm friends! Posted to CHILE-HEADS DIGEST V4 #138 by "Gregg Puckett" <gpuckett@...> on Sep 28, 1997
