Quick chocolate brownies

50 grams Caster sugar; (2 oz)
1 teaspoon Vanilla essence

175 grams Plain flour; (6 oz)
1 teaspoon Baking powder
50 grams Cornflakes; crushed (2 oz)
25 grams Cocoa; (1 oz)

Directions

Pre-heat the oven to 180-200'C / 350-400'F or gas 4-6 and grease a 20 cm (8 in) tin. Cream the butter and sugar together. Add all the other ingredients. Spoon the mixuture into the prepared tin and bake in the pre-heated oven for 25-30 minutes.
