Raisin penny pinchers

Ingredients

| ¾ | cup | Butter (or marg.); softened | 
| 1 | cup | Sugar, brown; firmly packed | 
| 2 | Eggs | |
| ½ | cup | Milk, evaporated; undiluted | 
| 2 | cups | Flour, all-purpose | 
| ½ | teaspoon | Salt | 
| 2 | cups | Oats, old-fashioned; uncookd | 
| ½ | cup | Walnuts; chopped | 
| 1 | cup | Raisins, seedless | 
| 1 | teaspoon | Lemon rind; grated | 
Directions
Cream butter and sugar.  Add eggs, beating well.  Blend in milk, flour, and salt.  Add oats, walnuts, raisins, and lemon rind; mix well. Drop level tablespoonfuls onto greased baking sheets.  Bake at 375 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes.
