⅔ | cup | Brown sugar; firmly packed |
½ | cup | All purpose flour |
1½ | cup | Oats |
1 | cup | Chopped walnuts |
1 | cup | Raisins |
½ | cup | Jam or jelly (any flavor) |
Directions
This is a recipe that my mom got from the back of a Diamond Walnut package.
She always made them around the Holidays. We loved them! Heat oven to 375. Beat together butter and brown sugar Stir in flour, oats & walnuts reserve 1 cup for topping. Press the remaining mixture into lightly greased 8" square pan. Combine raisins and jam. Spread over the oat mixture to within ½ inch of the edges. Sprinkle with reserved oat mixture, press lightly.
