Rice dressing, prejean style

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
pounds Ground round or hamburger
2 mediums Onions; diced
1 Bell pepper; diced
1 Clove garlic; cut fine
½ cup Chopped green onion
cup Cooked rice
½ can Cream of mushroom soup
Salt; pepper, red pepper, garlic salt & onion salt to taste
1 tablespoon Dried parsley

Directions

Simmer meat, diced onions, garlic, green pepper, parsley, green onions and seasonings until completely brown. Drain off excess fat. Add a little water and simmer until onions and green peppers and water are cooked down (approximately ½ hour or longer if necessary). You can keep adding a little water to keep ingredients from sticking until everything is cooked.

Add mushroom soup and simmer until just moist enough to add rice. Mix desired amount of rice according to your taste. Serves 6 to 8.
