Rice vegetable pilaf

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
1⅓ cup Water
1 teaspoon Chicken-flavored bouillon
Granules
½ cup Long-grain rice -- uncooked
cup Carrot -- coarsely shredded
½ cup Fresh parsley, chopped
cup Scallion -- thinly sliced
¼ teaspoon Pepper
¼ cup Toasted pecans,chopped

Directions

Combine water and bouillon granules in a saucepan, bring to a boil. Add rice, cover, reduce heat, and simmer 20 minutes. Remove from heat, and let stand, covered, 5 minutes. Add next 4 ingredients, stir well. Place over ow heat, cover and cook 5 minutes. Sprinkle with pecans.
