Ingredients

1 | can | (28 oz.) whole plum tomatoes with juice |
1 | cup | Uncooked rice |
1 | cup | Water |
3 | Fresh jalapenos; seeded and minced | |
1 | small | Onion; diced |
2 | tablespoons | DurkeeĀ® red hot sauce |
1 | tablespoon | Butter |
½ | teaspoon | Salt |
1 | Clove garlic; crushed |
Directions
Combine all ingredients in a kettle, breaking up tomatoes with a spoon.
Simmer uncovered for 45 minutes, stirring occasionally. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
