Robin's fruit dessert

5 | cups | Apples, thinly sliced |
8 | ounces | White cake mix |
5½ | tablespoon | Butter, melted |
1 | cup | Rich milk |

Butter your baking dish or pan heavily. Spread fresh fruit in bottom of pan. Most cake mixes are one pound--use ½ the box. Spread mix over the fresh apples. Dot the dry mix generously with butter. Pour rich milk or cream over all. Bake at 350~ for about 30 minutes or until nicely browned.
Serve warm with milk or whipped cream.
