Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
¼ cup Butter; or marg.
¼ cup Corn syrup
1 cup Semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 teaspoon Vanilla
½ cup Icing sugar; sifted
2 cups Kellogg's Rices Krispies or other similar cereal

Directions

This one is absolutely simple but VERY good.

Combine butter, corn syrup and chocolate chips in a sauce pan. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until melted and smooth. Remove from the heat. Stir in vanilla and icing sugar, mixing until smooth.

Add the cereal and mix.

Spread mixture with a rubber spatula in a lightly buttered or a non-stick 8" pan. Chill until set and cut into squares.
