Salmon in miso ( miso is fermented soy bean paste)

2 | pounds | Fresh salmon steaks or fillets |
½ | cup | Light miso |
1 | tablespoon | Sugar |
1 | pinch | Msg (optional) |
3 | Scallions; chopped | |
1 | tablespoon | Soy sauce |
1 | teaspoon | Sesame oil |
¼ | cup | Sake |
Directions
Place the steaks in a bowl large enough for marinating. In another bowl, mix the remaining ingredients. Marinate the steaks in this mixture for about 2 hours at room temperature, or in the refrigerator overnight. Grill or broil until done to your own taste.
