Sarah's taco soup

Ingredients

1 | pounds | Ground beef |
4 | Cloves garlic; pressed | |
1 | medium | Onion; chopped |
1 | Envelope taco seasoning mix | |
3 | cups | Water |
1 | can | Rotel tomatoes |
1 | can | Pinto beans |
1 | dash | Cumin |
1 | teaspoon | Salt |
Directions
Fry up ground beef, then drain. Put back on the heat, and add onion and garlic. Cook awhile. Add taco seasoning mix, tomatoes, beans and water, and spices. Simmer for approx 15 minutes.

NOTES : I made this last nite for the family (3-10-98) and they loved it.
My daughter thought it could be spicier. She added cayenne pepper to hers.
All the ingredients I typed out here are approx. since I didn't follow a recipe, and I didn't measure anything. So really it's the kind of recipe that you can play with adding your fav spices etc.
