Scalloped eggs with rice

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
6 eaches Hard-cooked eggs
2 cups Medium white sauce
2 cups Boiled rice
¾ cup Grated cheese
Salt and pepper

Directions

Combine white sauce with rice and ½ cup cheese. Place half of this mixture in well-oiled dish. Add eggs cut in halves lengthwise.

Sprinkle eggs with salt and pepper. Cover with remaining sauce.

Sprinkle with remaining cheese. Bake in moderate oven (375 F) 25 minutes, or until cheese is melted. 6 servings. Carrie Swan, Santa Fe, N.M.
