Scandinavian rice pudding(crockpot style)

4 Eggs beaten
2 cups Milk -- scalded
2 cups Half& half -- (light)
cup Sugar
1 Tesp
Tesp
¼ Tesp
cup Chopped dates -- or raisins
3 To 3/12 c
Vanilla
Cinnamon
Nutmeg
Rice

Directions

1. In pot, combine all ingred. Cover and heat. 2. Cook at med heat for 2 hours, stirring every hour. Reduce to Med - Low heat to keep warm for serving or chill for serving. Serve with light cream, if desired.
