Creamy rice pudding

Cook over simmering water, | ||
Stirring contantly, until | ||
Mixture coats a metal spoon. | ||
Remove from heat. | ||

1 | tablespoon | Butter or Margarine |
1 | teaspoon | Vanilla |
⅓ | cup | Raisin,currants or chopped |

COMBINE IN TOP OF DOUBLE
BOILER
Pour into serving bowl and allow to stand, without stirring, for 30 minutes Serve warm or chilled, with cream. (I sprinkle cinnamon and/or nutmeg on top.) Taken from an "Old" Purity Flour Cookbook.
