Sesame noodles - bon appetit

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
¼ cup Soy sauce
3 tablespoons Oriental sesame oil
2 tablespoons Red wine vinegar
2 tablespoons Vegetable oil
tablespoon Sugar
1 tablespoon Prepared chili sauce with garlic*
1 pack (12-oz) Chinese water-style noodles or linguine
4 Green onions, thinly sliced
1 Red bell pepper, cut into matchstick-size strips

Directions

Combine soy sauce, 2 T sesame oil, vinegar, vegetable oil, sugar and chili sauce in processor or blender. Blend until well combined. (Can be made 1 day ahead. Cover and chill. Bring to room temperature before continuing.)

Cook noodles in large pot of boiling salted water until tender but still firm to bite. Drain. Rinse under cold water to cool; drain well. Transfer to bowl. Toss with 1 T sesame oil. Add green onions and red bell pepper and toss. Add enough dressing to coat; toss.

*Available at Asian markets and some supermarkets.
