Sidney's cornbread

Ingredients

½ | cup | Sifted flour |
1½ | cup | Yellow cornmeal |
1 | teaspoon | Salt |
2 | teaspoons | Sugar |
3 | teaspoons | Baking powder |
3 | Eggs, beaten lightly | |
1 | cup | Milk |
¼ | cup | Cream |
½ | cup | Butter, melted |
Directions
Sift the dry ingredients together in a bowl. Add the eggs and milk and beat with a spoon until the mixture is just moist. Beat in the cream and melted butter. (Do not overbeat.) Pour the batter into an 8½ x 11-inch buttered pan. Bake at 400-degrees for 15 to 20 minutes.
