Simple cod fillets with buttery crumb topping+

Ingredients

⅓ | cup | Lowfat milk |
1⅓ | pounds | Thick Cod fillets, 1 to 1 1/2 inches thick |
⅓ | cup | Low-fat cracker crumbs (you can use unsalted saltines or stoned wheat crackers) |
1 | teaspoon | Dried parsley flakes |
¼ | teaspoon | Salt |
1½ | tablespoon | Melted margarine or butter |
Directions
1. Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F. Pour the milk into a 1½-quart shallow baking dish (like a gratin.) Add the fish.
2. combine the cracker crumbs, parsley, and salt. Evenly distribute across the top of the fish.
3. Drizzle the margarine or butter over the crumbs. Place the fish in the preheated oven and bake for 12 to 17 minutes or until the fish is done.
