Ingredients
Quantity | Ingredient | |

1 | cup | Walnuts |
3 | slices | White bread |
4 | Cloves garlic or more to taste; crushed | |
¼ | cup | Canola oil |
⅓ | cup | Olive oil |
Juice of 1 lemon | ||
Salt and white pepper; to taste | ||
1 | pinch | Cayenne |
1 | tablespoon | Red wine vinegar |
Directions
1. Soak bread in water
2. Squeeze out water from bread and place in bowl of food processor 3. Add garlic, salt, pepper,and cayenne and run the machine to form a paste.
4. Start adding lemon and vinegar alternating with oils to the consistency of mayonnaise.
5. Add finely chopped walnuts turn machine just to combine. ( you want to feel the walnuts)
Serve over fried fish.
NOTES : This recipe may be done with 1 large mashed potato instead of the bread.
