Sour cream anise cookies

1 cup Shortening
1 cup Packed brown sugar
1 cup Honey
8 ounces Sour cream
3 Eggs
cup All-purpose flour
2 teaspoons Baking soda
¾ teaspoon Aniseed
¼ teaspoon Salt

Directions

In a mixing bowl, cream shortening and sugar. Add the honey, sour cream and eggs; beat well. Combine flour, baking soda, aniseed and salt; add to creamed mixture and mix tell. Drop by teaspoon 2" apart onto greased baking sheets. Bake at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes or until lightly browned.

Cool on a wire rack. Yield: about 8 dozen.
