Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
10 mediums Apples (eating kind)
½ cup Water
¾ cup Sugar
1 teaspoon Ground cinnamon
½ teaspoon Ground nutmeg
1 teaspoon Ground cloves

Directions

Cut apples into medium-size pieces; do not core or peel. Place in slow-cooking pot with all other ingredients. Cook on low 7 to 8 hours until apples are very soft. Strain through sieve. Serve hot or cold.
