Steamed vegetables with chile lime butter

1 | small | Garlic clove; minced |
1 | teaspoon | Lime peel; Grated |
1 | teaspoon | Serrano pepper or jalapeno; Finely chopped |
1 | tablespoon | Fresh lime juice |
3 | cups | Mixed broccoli; cauliflower and carrots, Cut up |
6 | (3/4 cup servings) |
Directions
1. Melt butter in small saucepan over low heat. Add garlic; cook and stir about 20 seconds. Add lime peel, chile and lime juice; mix well. Set aside.
2. Place steamer basket in large saucepan. Add 1 cup water; bring to a boil. Add cut-up vegetables to basket; cook 4 to 5 minutes or until crisp tender.
3. To serve, place vegetables in serving bowl. Add butter mixture; toss gently.
