Strawberries with raspberry sauce

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
4 cups Strawberries
1 cup Raspberries
1 tablespoon Orange juice or to taste
1 tablespoon Maple syrup or to taste

Directions

1. Wash and hull the strawberries and put them in an attractive bowl.

2. In a separate bowl, press the raspberries 2-3 times with the back of a fork to mash some of them. Stir in the orange juice and maple syrup.

3. Pour the raspberry mixture over the strawberries, mix gently, and cover the bowl with plastic wrap. Let stand at room temperature for at least 1 hour. Serve at room temperature.

Can be prepared up to 4 hours ahead. Refrigerate any leftovers for 1 day.
